Hello everyone, we wanted to catch up and share some more details with you. After Kickstarter, everything just gets busier.
A large number of you have completed your BackerKit surveys, however, we still have a few hundred people that have not completed it just yet. It is very important that you complete this with your address details before the 31st as we need to confirm production numbers and lock everything in. If you do not manage to complete this it may cause a delay with you receiving your item on release.

1-3 Player Beta Rulebook
We have been hard at work completing our 1-3 Player rulebook and feel that we are now at the point where it is suitable to show in its current form. As before this rulebook will continue to receive updates in both content and design.
Here is the link to the new additional book that will ship with every copy of the game.
We have one more character to share that will appear in every copy of the game. Today we would like to introduce you to Rob.
Highly trained and incredibly dangerous, Rob is a war veteran who has struggled to find his place in the world. His battle with PTSD has landed him at the mercy of an ex-military support group. When his eyes are opened, Rob must work out if these skull-faced Invaders are real, or if his sanity was another casualty of war.
There will be more updates on the way, including videos and additional content updates. At the moment we are prioritizing backer queries to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

They Live - Time is running out for your survey / checkout (10 Days remaining)

The last day to make final updates to your order is May 31st. After this date, we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders. You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping.
If you haven’t already please fill out your BackerKit survey to confirm your shipping details and highlight any extras you will be wanting to order (This can be updated and changed right up to the final day).
Most of you have completed the survey, but we do need to make sure everyone understands that if you do not complete your survey it may cause a delay to your shipment as we will not have the correct info.
Thank you all again for being so responsive to answering our BackerKit survey—even though it may not seem like much as an individual backer, you have no idea how tremendously helpful this has been for us when trying to keep track of you all and how it helps to ensure the orders are correct!

The first few surveys have been sent to backers at various pledge levels. If everything works fine, and there are no major issues then we expect to roll out all backer surveys within the next few hours.

Hello again everyone, we are furiously working behind the scenes to ensure everything goes smoothly when we confirm your orders and the BackerKit surveys are sent out starting on the 14th of May.
Keep an eye on your email for anything related to Backerkit or They Live after that date, this will allow you to pick your add-ons and add any extras.
Additional Character - The Zodiac Club
We have one more ‘character’ that we wanted to include in every copy of the game, so today we would like to introduce you to The Zodiac Club.
What started as a simple fan-club for punk rocker Billy Gemini, has evolved into a network of children who are trying to make sense of a covert invasion across LA. They work as acollective, able to hide in the shadows, share skills, and gather intel. They’ve noticed some of the adults acting strangely, and are determined to find out what’s going on.
The Zodiac Club has a very unique skill set that allows you to exchange character stats by swapping out members of their group and they also have the ability to use an additional extra life to cheat death, but you will lose all of a particular stat as a consequence. However, they do have their drawbacks including low strength and influence, after-all who is going to believe a bunch of kids about an Alien Invasion.

Hello everyone, we have seen a huge surge in our final hours, and we will have lots of updates to come over the coming days with the end of the campaign and beyond.
We wanted to discuss the steps that will take place after the Kickstarter campaign ends, so you know what to expect.
Step 1 - April 30th Kickstarter Campaign Ends
Survey Example
After the Kickstarter campaign ends you will be charged for your backed funds and this will all be recorded for your pledge manager survey.
Please make sure all of your cards are up-to-date on Kickstarter to minimize any issues with your transaction.
Step 2 - May 14th BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey Sent:
You will receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts on May 31st.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://they-live-assault-on-cable-54.backerkit.com/
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at [email protected]
Things to note:
Switching your pledge level
£1 pledges can not purchase add-ons without upgrading the pledge level
You can change your pledge levels
Shipping will be clearly displayed for your area
Keep an eye on your cart, it will clearly display what you have included with your level (to stop you buying extras that you may already have)
Print screen / save your receipt
Make sure that your address is up-to-date
Step 3 - May 31st 'Locking In' and Charging
On May 31st we will lock in the surveys and all cards will be charged for shipping and any additional extras. Please ensure all cards are up-to-date and that you have taken note of this date so you are aware of the information if your bank asks you about the charge.
Step 4 - Updates June - November

Step 5 - December Game Release
We will ship out your game to your selected address.
The Order Store / Late Pledge
Don’t worry if you missed the Kickstarter, you will have a small window of opportunity to secure a copy of the game through our ‘BackerKit Order Store’. This store will let you make a late pledge until May 31st. After that time you will no longer be able to back this edition of the game.
We hope these steps have made it easier to understand what is coming. This project has been an amazing rollercoaster ride of emotions, and we are all eternally grateful to you for helping to bring this project to life.
